Timi Ama Beach, located in the municipality of Villasimius, sits between Porto Giunco Beach and Simius Beach. Its fine white sandy seabed is flanked on both sides by two small cliffs.
Imagine flying over the southeastern coast of Sardinia. East of the Gulf of Cagliari, near the Capo Carbonara promontory, you will see one of the island’s most beautiful coastlines: the stretch from Campulongu Beach, past Isola dei Cavoli, Porto Giunco Beach, and finally to Simius Beach. In the center, between the last two locations, lies Timi Ama Beach. You’ll recognize it by its white sandy expanse, bordered by two small cliffs, with the Notteri Lagoon visible behind it, and surrounded by Mediterranean scrub.
Timi Ama Beach: Perfect for Families and Children
Like other locations near Villasimius, itself a gem, Timi Ama Beach is very popular during the summer months. Nevertheless, it remains very enjoyable. Just a few kilometers from the town center, the beach has a large parking area suitable even for camper travelers. You can comfortably spend the entire day here, even with young children, thanks to the availability of umbrellas, sunbeds, and loungers, and the nearby refreshment points. For those who enjoy offshore excursions, water skis or pedal boats are available for rent.

How to Reach Timi Ama Beach
The beach is located exactly between Porto Giunco Beach and Simius Beach. From Cagliari, take State Road 17 toward Villasimius. Once there, pass through the town center and the tourist marina, and follow the signs to Porto Giunco-Notteri. Alternatively, if you are already in Villasimius, head toward the marina and take Via del Mare to reach the beach.
